What is TR-069 or CWMP?
CWMP (CPE WAN Management Protocol), is a technical specification developed by the Broadband Forum for remote management of customer premises equipment (CPE) such as routers and modems. It enables service providers to automate the provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of devices, improving operational efficiency and customer support.
What is an ACS?
The ACS (Auto-Configuration Server) is a central HTTP server that also acts like a client and it manages and configures customer premises equipment (CPE) remotely, being the main component of the CWMP standard.
